THE LITTLE RIVER SAILING, AND EVERYONE IS COMING
This is the vehicle for the trip where the answer to "is there room?" is always yes. Grandparents in the middle buckets, the kids in the third row, and the whole weekend's luggage still behind them, because this is the MAX — the long one, with real cargo space left over once every row is occupied. You are in the lineup at Little River with an hour to kill and nobody is sitting with a bag on their knees.
The second row is middle buckets rather than a bench, which is the detail that makes a long drive civil. There is a walk-through, so the person in the back is not climbing over anybody. Auxiliary rear heater with underseat and headliner ducts, so the third row is not the punishment seat in February. Rear map lights, rear cupholders, seatback storage pockets, and door bins everywhere.
Then the sunroof. Express open sliding and tilting glass across the first and second rows with a power sunshade, and on the drive up the coast with it open it is the thing the passengers will remember about the day.
THE BOAT, AND THE RAMP AT DISCOVERY PIER
Class IV towing equipment with a hitch and trailer sway control, factory, along with the trailer wiring harness. A 3.31 axle ratio, part and full-time four-wheel drive through an electronic transfer case with auto locking hubs, and a maximum payload of 766.6 kg on a 3,311 kg GVWR.
The 3.5L V6 EcoBoost with auto start-stop and the 10-speed SelectShift automatic is a genuinely unbothered tow vehicle — it does not run out of breath on a grade with a boat behind it, and it does not make a performance of getting there.
A full-size spare stored underbody with a crankdown, which on a long haul beats a tire kit every time. Block heater already fitted. A 107 litre tank, so the range matches the way you would actually use it.
THE LONG DRIVE, HANDLED
Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go and Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist are the reason a run to the far end of the Island stops being tiring. Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitoring and a driver monitoring alert. Speed-sensitive rain-detecting wipers, automatic high beams, and power folding heated mirrors with auto-dimming on the driver's side and turn signal indicators.
Inside it is the Limited kit: leather seats, heated seats, a heated leather steering wheel with auto tilt-away, power adjustable pedals, a power tilt and telescoping column, an 8-way driver seat and 6-way passenger seat with lumbar support.
Voice-activated touchscreen navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM, a 12-speaker premium sound system, and FordPass Connect 4G mobile hotspot. Four 12-volt outlets and a 120-volt AC outlet. A power liftgate with a flip-up rear window, which is the fastest way to drop one bag in without opening the whole thing.
STRAIGHT TALK ON KILOMETRES AND WARRANTY
This one has real kilometres on it, and that is precisely why it is priced where it is. A loaded Limited MAX at this money is a lot of vehicle, and the kilometres are the reason.
Ford's factory coverage is three years or 60,000 km comprehensive and five years or 100,000 km on the powertrain. On kilometres this Expedition is past both limits, so there is no factory warranty remaining. The listing page carries a generic "Balance of Factory Warranty" flag that the numbers do not support here — please disregard it.
It was fully inspected before it was listed. If you want cover going forward, extended warranty coverage is available and we will quote it honestly against what the vehicle is actually worth rather than selling you the most expensive option in the drawer. On a full-size V6 twin-turbo SUV that is a conversation worth having properly.
